Speaking concerning his new video, Charles said he has to bow to pressure from friends and fans to release the video. ‘Due to the lyrics of the song, a lot of people have been calling for the video and we will all agree that God is nobody’s mate. The song was put together for people to appreciate God the more and thanked him for everything and in all situations, irrespective of your religion. I sing basically to glorify God because I have a relationship with Him. I look forward to doing more songs that will inspire people throughout Africa and all over the world. I wrote it not because of what He did for me but because of who He is to me. The video is a delight for all’.
Hi s last video, ‘I Dey Trip For You’ which was directed by one of Nigeria’s fastest rising video directors, Andru Films, with cameos from top actor, Afeez Oyetoro (Saka) and ace comedian, Omo Baba also came across as a very entertaining video. Afeez Oyetoro didn’t disappoint in adding some loads of comedy to the video.
