O You who hear prayer, To You all men come. Iniquities prevail against me; As for our transgressions, You forgive them. How blessed is the one whom You choose and bring near to You To dwell in Your courts. We will be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, Your holy temple.
Psalm 65:2-4 NASB
Who amongst us does not sin? Can you forgive yourself? Do you think you can come near the Courts of the Lord our God by yourself? Is not the Lord Good (all the time)? Whatever comes your way, God Has allowed it for a reason and a purpose! Draw near to God and He Will Draw near to you. God uses afflictions to draw mankind closer to Him. Will you just humble yourself and stop your arrogance and pridefulness? Humility begets much grace; humble yourself in the Sight of the Lord and He Will Lift you up higher and higher and He Will Lift you up!!!
The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous. Proverbs 15:29 KJV
God opposes the proud and gives grace to the humble. Pride in itself we can deduce from the Word of God is a type of wickedness that keeps God far away from you! You cannot be righteous without humility; therefore humility works side by side with righteousness. Only the humble can ever accept the righteousness of God as a way of life!!!

The Lord Hears my distress call (cries) all day long; He Shows me unparallelled Love, even though I don't deserve it! O! I will praise Him from everlasting to everlasting! I don't know why He Loves me so; but He Does! Yes, Jesus Loves me! The Bible tells me so; and yes, I know so in His daily Dealings with me. Thank You Lord Jesus. Halleluyah! Amen!!!
And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. Luke 2:8-14 KJV
The Good News was announced to the shepherds watching over their flocks at night in an atmosphere of tremendous awe! The sign would be a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes. lying in a manger! Hmmm; not in a palace, but in a manger! No wonder the news came to the shepherds to let them know that something Mighty would happen in their domain! Glory be to God in the highest! Halleluyah!!!
(38) "You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.' (39) But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. (40) If anyone wants to sue you and take away your tunic, let him have your cloak also. Matthew 5:38-40
The old order was changed; from a vengeance meted out upon our adversaries and foes to a humility unparallelled - even allowing yourself to be vulnerable. In fact, loving your enemies as Taught and Preached by Jesus Christ, the Master Himself! Hmm! Who can do this? He never said it was easy! It takes great humility and love to do this! With man this is impossible; but with God all things are possible! Yet, who benefits? The doer of the Word! Lord Help me to be a doer of Your Word in Jesus' Name I pray! Amen!!!
