Prophecy:
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6
Fulfillment:
"And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven." Colossians 1:20
"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." John 16:33

"And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?" Matthew 13:54
Those who never imagined they would witness the birth of the Messiah simply spoke as Enabled by the Holy Spirit of God! They prophesied of the coming King; the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace! He was to be born as a child through a Virgin; it all came to pass & the rest is history! This Wonderful Man/God astounded everyone with His Wisdom, Counsel & Miracles all the time. This Messiah, though killed, Rose again and Lives forevermore! This is the crux of the Good News Gospel of Jesus Christ!!!
"But he passing through the midst of them went his way, And came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on the sabbath days. And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power." Luke 4:30-32
The Wisdom of the Lord Jesus Christ could not be passed off at all! It was all very evident. At every stage though, there were those who felt threatened and offended by all He Did (though good deeds)! They wanted to find ways to kill Him! They however did not know that His primary purpose was to shed His Blood for humanity! Hmmm! Is not God Great? Can we compare Him with any other? Hmmm! Praise the Lord somebody please! Halleluyah!!!
"That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge."
Colossians 2:2-3
All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are fully hidden in God and in Jesus Christ; & only He Can unravel and Bless anyone with these treasures! He Works always through Love! In Him, all who believe can be fully assured; that is, have faith in Him without shaking! Jesus Christ is worthy of your faith/trust/adoration!!!
In those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the wilderness of Judea and saying, 'Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.' This is he who was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah: 'A voice of one calling in the wilderness, "Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him."' Matthew 3:1-3 (NIVUK)
John the Baptist came as a forerunner of Jesus Christ; born six months before Him & testified mightily of Him publicly & in private! His message was very simple, repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is near! His was a voice calling in the wilderness for all who cared to listen, hear and believe to prepare a way for the Lord & make straight paths for Him! Oh Jesus I have promised to serve Thee to the end; be Thou forever near me, my Master & my Friend!!!
(13) " If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, From doing your pleasure on My holy day, And call the Sabbath a delight,
The holy day of the LORD honorable, And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways, Nor finding your own pleasure, Nor speaking your own words, Isaiah 58:13
The Sabbath is for man not the other way round; & it pleases God that the Sabbath is honoured. What better way to do so than to enter into the Sabbath rest of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is calling all who care to come, believe in Him & in His Sacrifice and Great Testimony! Come, buy milk & honey without money! Freely you receive, freely you ought to give also! Thank You Jesus; for You Lord, Are a Giver of all good gifts! Thank You Lord for Loving me!!!
