Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them slip from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them.

It's easy to receive blessings from God and forget, taking it for granted; how then would one remember to tell the children and teach them about our God, His Word and His Ways? It is to continue to enjoy the Blessings of God that we must fear Him, obey His Word and teach them to our children with the instruction that they must do likewise to their children! This is God's Instruction; which if obeyed, would help us along the journey of life!!!
Thus shall ye do in the fear of the LORD, faithfully, and with a perfect heart. And what cause soever shall come to you of your brethren that dwell in your cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and judgments, ye shall even warn them that they trespass not against the LORD, and so wrath come upon you, and upon your brethren: this do, and ye shall not trespass.

If you keep sinning against the Lord, you risk His Wrath coming upon you; as it was in the days of old, even more so now! It is not the case that God stopped punishing people; even now, unto whom much is Given, much is desired! Now, with the advent of Jesus Christ, we ought to take God's Word and obeying the Word even more seriously. The consequences are even more severe if you study the Word of God diligently and apply it in your lives!!!
The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes; The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever; The ordinances of the LORD are true, and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb. Psalm 19:8-10 RSV
All of the Lord's Instructions to mankind are for man's benefits; and they're all good, right, pure, enlightening and obeying them brings much joy to our hearts as well as light into our darkness! We would do well to desire them more than our worldly desires for wealth and associated matters that are of no eternal consequences! Fear God and obey His Commandments and be "clean"!!!
Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendour. 'All this I will give you,' he said, 'if you will bow down and worship me.' Jesus said to him, 'Away from me, Satan! For it is written: "Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only."' Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him. Matthew 4:8-11 (NIVUK)
Satan wanted even the Lord Jesus Christ who satan knows is God to worship him! If so, who says you are free from temptations from him? Resist the devil; Jesus did, so must you, then he will flee! Satan will not stop trying; you must keep resisting and be very consistently doing so. It will help you not to desire evil; because if you do, you play into satan's hands! May God Help us all to resist the devil in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
(19) This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, (20) where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek. Hebrews 6:19-20
Does your soul have an anchor? There's a worldly anchor and there is a Heavenly one! My Anchor is Jesus Christ who Enters and Leads me behind the Holy Veil, where He foreknew! He Will Lead me home in Jesus' Name. Father, please Help me! Keep me abiding with and in You; do not let me stray from Your Presence ever! I want to be where You Are forever in Your Presence; feasting at Your Table, surrounded by Your Glory! I just want to be with You o Lord in Jesus' Name I pray. Amen!!!
