Are you oppressed? Do you know the Name of the Lord? Will/Can you seek Him! If you will call upon the Name of the Lord for Help, He Will never put you to shame & Will come to your rescue. If you are prepared to come to know His Name, He Will become a refuge & a fortress for you in times of trouble & you can trust Him! He Will not leave nor forsake all who trust in Him!!!
Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him,
nor suffer my faithfulness to fail. My covenant will I not break,
nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips. Psalm 89:33,34 KJV
God is a covenant-keeping God! When He Speaks a word, He comes through for you! He Does not shift like shadows nor change His Mind when He Makes Promises! Will you trust Him? Will you hope in Him? Will you walk with Him? He's a faithful God in every way! I will praise Him from everlasting to everlasting! He is my God!!!
The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up. Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements will melt with intense heat!
2 Peter 3:9-12 NASB
Some try to ridicule God and believers; asking where is their God & saying why is He so slow to fulfill His Promises to His children! They do not understand that God's Timing is different than than of man! He's so patient in wanting all to come to repentance; sadly, not all heed the call! When His Judgment is made manifest, people groan and say rash words that get them deeper into the wrath of God ... just because they refuse to obey the Word of God!!!
After fasting for forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. The tempter came to him and said, 'If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.' Jesus answered, ‘It is written: "Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God."' Matthew 4:2-4 (NIVUK)
If satan could tempt Jesus Christ, who are you? Why are you so surprised and disheartened that satan attacks you? That's his stock in trade! You are going to have to rise up in resistance against satan. What are you waiting for? Come on! Resist the devil; and he will flee!!
(1) But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: (2) For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, (3) unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, (4) traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, (5) having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!
2 Timothy 3:1-5
Are we not in the last days? Consider all the happenings in the world today and you will likely agree with me! Reflect and meditate on the above Scripture; pray that God Helps you to live a godly life! For me, this is preferable than having a form of godliness and denying its power! Turn away from such people is what the Bible says! Wisdom of God required here not what audiences say and or think! Be wise!!!
