Jesus Christ asked them if they believed He was Able to Heal them; they said yes! Faith is most crucial in the effecting of miraculous healing! He even said "according to your faith" will it be done to you; their sight was restored! Jesus Christ did not have a video camera to show off the healing and or deliverance He effected! What we have today are mostly "show men and women" without the fear of God, who want fame more than anything except money! Help us o Lord to serve You appropriately in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him. Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.
James 5:14-16 NASB
The elders are elders even according to faith in Jesus Christ; not just for the sake of reward by their pastors for paying tithes and financial and other support for the "church", as is the case today! Unconfessed sins can be a hindrance to healing/deliverance! The prayer of righteousness are powerful and effective! Prayer is not the same; proving that we cannot all be equal in the Eyes of God! God Doesn't Hear every prayer offered by every and anyone!!!
But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house. And he arose, and departed to his house. Matthew 9:6-7 KJV
Forgiveness of sins is linked to healing even as above in the prayer of the elders and the sins of the afflicted being forgiven! O Lord, Open our eyes to see Your Hand and our hearts to follow Your Ways in Jesus' Name. Amen! Arise, take up your mat and go home in the Name of Jesus somebody!!!
Again, you have heard that it was said to the people long ago, "Do not break your oath, but fulfil to the Lord the oaths you have made." But I tell you, do not swear an oath at all: either by heaven, for it is God's throne; or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King. And do not swear by your head, for you cannot make even one hair white or black. All you need to say is simply "Yes," or "No"”; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.
Matthew 5:33-37 (NIVUK)
Stop swearing; because it doesn't please God! Let your yes be yes and no be no! Anything beyond this is from the evil one! Hmmm! Don't you see how often we allow ourselves to manifest evil daily in not simply letting our yes be yes and no be no! We're always swearing and so quick to do so! This is evil manifested! Father God in the Name of Jesus Christ, Help us, Correct us, so we may do what is right and pleases You in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!

(2) And David arose and went with all the people who were with him from Baale Judah to bring up from there the ark of God, whose name is called by the Name, the LORD of Hosts, who dwells between the cherubim. (3) So they set the ark of God on a new cart, and brought it out of the house of Abinadab, which was on the hill; and Uzzah and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, drove the new cart. (4) And they brought it out of the house of Abinadab, which was on the hill, accompanying the ark of God; and Ahio went before the ark. (5) Then David and all the house of Israel played music before the LORD on all kinds of instruments of fir wood, on harps, on stringed instruments, on tambourines, on sistrums, and on cymbals. (6) And when they came to Nachon"s threshing floor, Uzzah put out his hand to the ark of God and took hold of it, for the oxen stumbled. (7) Then the anger of the LORD was aroused against Uzzah, and God struck him there for his error; and he died there by the ark of God. (8) And David became angry because of the LORD"s outbreak against Uzzah; and he called the name of the place Perez Uzzah to this day. (9) David was afraid of the LORD that day; and he said, "How can the ark of the LORD come to me?" 2 Samuel 6:1-9
The Ark of God was significant in what it stood for (God)! So much so that not just anybody could touch it anyhow! The one who touched it (regardless of intention) was struck dead immediately! David feared God for this reason increasingly; and he dreaded the Ark and thought to himself that the Ark could not come to him! If only we would fear God! How much better our lives would be! Help us o Lord God to know You and learn to please You in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
