Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 1 Peter 5:6,7 KJV
This does not say that God Loves you unconditionally and that you don't have to do anything for Him to exalt you freely. Yes God Cares for you; but you have to cast your cares upon Him! What are the chances that God Would actually exalt you unless you humble yourself under His Mighty Hand? Do you not have to acknowledge and honour His Mighty Hand before being Blessed out of His Love? Can you not see that you must demonstrate your love in obedience to Him before receiving His Blessings? If you can't see this, may God Help/Deliver you in Jesus' Name. It's crystal clear to me all through the Holy Scriptures!!!
Trust in the LORD and do good; Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness. Delight yourself in the LORD; And He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, and He will do it. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light And your judgment as the noonday. Psalm 37:3-6 NASB
Again, the same Truth runs through this Scripture from the Psalms; you have to trust in the Lord, do good, dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness! In short, delight yourself in the Lord and commit your way to Him and again He Will Bless you (His Love cannot be unconditional; was never intended to be)!!!
But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well. "Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom. Luke 12:31,32 NIV
Yet again, we are requested to seek first the Kingdom of God BEFORE all these things will be Given to us. Although we're asked not to fear because the Father Has Deemed it fit and has been Pleased to give us the Kingdom! But can we get the Kingdom without "seeking"? Hmmm! Please brethren, be very wise and stop giving in to diverse winds of doctrine! May God Guide our hearts in the right direction in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
'When you fast, do not look sombre as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show others they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
Matthew 6:16-18 (NIVUK)
Often we "do" our christianity as a kind of "show" for others to see and because they're like minded, they take note and rate/judge us based on this outward show of vanity, as opposed to true faith in Jesus' Christ! It takes true humility to be who Jesus Christ Wants us to be in the Faith! May God Help us in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
(10) To whom shall I speak and give warning, That they may hear? Indeed their ear is uncircumcised, And they cannot give heed. Behold, the word of the LORD is a reproach to them; They have no delight in it. (11) Therefore I am full of the fury of the LORD. I am weary of holding it in. " I will pour it out on the children outside, And on the assembly of young men together; For even the husband shall be taken with the wife, The aged with him who is full of days. Jeremiah 6:10-11
Who should God Send to us now? Do we not have His express Word to obey? Yet, do we honour Him to obey His Word? We say we love Him but disobey His Word. He Said in His Word that if we love Him, we would obey His Word. Therefore the evidence of our love for Him is in our obedience to His Word. If you love the Lord, you will obey His Word; if not, then judge for yourself if you truly love Hm!? The cup of the Lord's fury is overflowing and cannot be contained anymore; His fury is hereby unleashed upon humanity! O Lord, please have Mercy on Your children; even though we do not deserve Your Mercy, please Help us in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
(13) " Because from the least of them even to the greatest of them, Everyone is given to covetousness; And from the prophet even to the priest, Everyone deals falsely. (14) They have also healed the hurt of My people slightly, Saying, "Peace, peace!" When there is no peace. (15) Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? No! They were not at all ashamed; Nor did they know how to blush. Therefore they shall fall among those who fall; At the time I punish them, They shall be cast down," says the LORD. Jeremiah 6:13-15
God Has not just taken His position/decision to unleash His fury upon humanity lightly. We are guilty and deserve fully whatever we get! Consider the above and see for yourself if we do not deserve the Lord's fury! Have we not gone away from His Word? Have we not prophesied but not in His Name. We declare peace when there is no peace and engage/partake in abominable acts against the Lord God Almighty! Holy Father, Mercy I plead in the Name of Jesus Christ; for there's nothing else for me to do, especially as my (our) guilt is overwhelming! Mercy Lord! I plead through the Name and Blood of Jesus Christ. Amen!!!
