The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs--heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. Romans 8:16-18 NIV
For God's Holy Spirit to confirm God's children, they must share in the Lord's suffering! Many claim to be God's children, but do not want a share in His suffering; this in itself disqualifies one from being His child! Hmmm! Yet, our sufferings are at best very temporary and cannot compare with the glory (reward) to be revealed in due season! So, persevere in suffering and do not despise or avoid suffering for Jesus Christ's sake!!!
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:17,18 KJV
The only real way to deal with suffering in Jesus' Name is not to look at the circumstances; but rather, to look at the things unseen which work for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory and are eternal! Remember to persevere because the affliction shall soon be over in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
But at that time your people shall be delivered, every one whose name shall be found written in the book. And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. Daniel 12:1b-3 NASB
Strive to ensure that your name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life! Only those shall be delivered! The dead shall arise; some to Eternal Life and others to eternal contempt and damnation! Those who turn many to righteousness (the wise) shall shine like the brightness of the firmament and like stars forever and ever in Jesus' Name! Amen! Fear God, obey His Commandments and do good!!!
(4) And I heard another voice from heaven saying, "Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. Revelation 18:4
Have no part in the evil that is in the world; come out from amongst them. What has light got to do with darkness! Be separated says the Lord! Obey God or be damned; obey God and be Blessed in Jesus' Name. The choice is yours!!!
