All have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. God Gave man glory in the beginning! Out of disobedience, we lost all glory. We undermined, disrespected, disdained God's Authority over our lives as mankind! God was so unhappy; yet, He Planned our salvation! So, He Decided to visit us in human flesh and sacrifice Himself for us. He Came as His own Son. Since God is Spirit and cannot have a natural son, He Chose to come in Jesus Christ. He Had to come as Holy and Righteous; so He Came through a virgin! Jesus Christ became sin for us in order for our sins to be washed away. Is it then too much for mankind to believe, trust and live for Him? Hmmm. We are so ungrateful. If God Chooses to destroy us all, don't we deserve it? God is so Just! Have mercy on us o Lord in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
And you were dead in your trespasses and sins, in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience. Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest. Ephesians 2:1-3 NASB
For those of us who claim to be following Jesus Christ as born again Christians, how many of us can say that we no longer live in the lusts of our flesh, indulging in the desires of our flesh and mind? We claim to be in Jesus Christ; yet we continue to live as children of wrath! Yet, we wonder why our lives are constantly in a mess! If only we would show gratitude to God in living for Him and committing our lives to Him and His Ways! Hmmm! May God Help us to do so increasingly for our own benefits and salvation; in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. John 3:19,20 NIV
We have Light in the world. Jesus Christ is the Light! But because of our love for darkness, we are gripped with fear of exposure! Light shows up every hidden thing. Hence our fear for Light; so rather than embrace Light and basking in Light, we run for cover in deeper darkness! But we may run but cannot hide. Light Reveals all! Why not just accept Light and be open! Quit evil and do good so you can stand the Light of God in Jesus' Christ. Amen!!!
When Jesus came down from the mountainside, large crowds followed him. A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, 'Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.' Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. 'I am willing,' he said. 'Be clean!' Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy. Then Jesus said to him, 'See that you don't tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.' Matthew 8:1-4
Jesus Christ went about doing good and meeting the needs of people! He was not showy! He even told some not to tell anybody. He did not desire fame. Are we following Jesus Christ's example? Search yourself! What is in your heart? Who are you really serving? When Jesus Christ Comes back, what will He meet in your hands? Hmmm! Please Help us o Lord God Almighty; that we may be like You in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
