This above verse in the Holy Bible has continued to cause so much controversy because of people who do not have the Spirit of God interpreting it wrongly! The clarity of purpose is so evident in informing all of the Sovereignty of Jesus Christ! Jesus Christ was is and is forevermore! Jesus Christ is the LIFE and the LIGHT of mankind! Who is the Lord except our God; who is God except our Lord! His Name is Higher than any other name; His Name is JESUS and LORD!!!
And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed. Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. Hebrews 12:13,14 KJV
Accommodate everybody as much as possible for the best comfort and interests of all; so that the weak are well taken care of and healed is what this verse above is saying! Follow the way of peace with all mankind in holiness; for without holiness no one will see the Lord!!!
Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins. And just as it is appointed for men to die once, and after that comes judgment, so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him. Hebrews 9:22,27-28 RSV
Under the law, purification is through the blood; without blood shedding there is no forgiveness of sins. So, Jesus Christ came once to shed His Blood for the sins of all; after His Ascension into Heaven, He's coming back a second time to save those eagerly awaiting His Return in Jesus' Name!!!
Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ's sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as a busybody in other people's matters. Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter. For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? 1 Peter 4:12-17 NKJV
Do not be discouraged by or think strangely about the fiery trial afflicting you; rather, rejoice that you are partaking of the sufferings of Jesus Christ! Even when you are attacked for the Name of Jesus Christ, rejoice also! Don't get to suffer for the sake of sinfulness and evil; remember that Judgment Will begin in the House of the Lord and with the elders! Judgment is for all who believe; how much worse it will be for those who do not obey the Gospel of God in the Lord Jesus Christ!!!

Who Jesus Christ is is made even clearer in the above two verses! Remember we started with who Jesus is right above in the beginning! Nobody else has such a description! This is the awesome TRUTH causing ripples all over the world since the advent of Jesus Christ, the Lord God Almighty in the physical human flesh on earth! O! How Excellent is the Name of the Lord God Almighty! Amen!! Halleluyah!!!
