Young men take pride in their strength and strut their stuff; for the old, it's more about their grey hair - not at all a thing of shame! However, it is futile to put your trust and hope in your strength as a young man; nor in the greyness of your hair as an old person!!!
LORD, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is: that I may know how frail I am. Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity.
Psalm 39:4,5 KJV
Growing old is nothing; but the ability and grace to know your limits, frailties, one's end, the measure of one's days makes more sense and is more meaningful in a Godly sense to the godly! Age and aging often considered by mankind is all vanity; for life is very short. What matters most is whether you take God into your life and the living of it; for in the long run, where you spend eternity is of greater importance! Hmmmm!!!
Older men are to be temperate, dignified, sensible, sound in faith, in love, in perseverance. Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored. Titus 2:2-5 NASB
Living in the Faith is enhanced by the above Scripture if your desire is to please our Lord and Commanding Officer! The older men are to live their lives as an example for others to follow. Likewise, the older women. A word in season for the younger women too that is very realistic and Godly; compared to what is taught today. The young men can realistically work out from the above how to live their lives in order that the Lord God might be honoured in their daily living. Stop saying God does not care about how we live etc. because if He didn't we would not have such instructions in His Word! We make up our own rules as we go along the journey of life; these human rules cannot ever save us! Only Jesus Can Save; and only His Commandments to be obeyed if we want to spend eternity with Him!!!
And you, Capernaum, will you be lifted to the heavens? No, you will go down to Hades. For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Sodom, it would have remained to this day. But I tell you that it will be more bearable for Sodom on the day of judgment than for you. Matthew 11:23-24 (NIVUK)
Be very careful not to reject the Word of God when you hear the Word! There is Judgment awaiting all who do not believe. Everyone will get the chance to hear the Word and make up their mind to or not to believe; but know that there is a reward for either!!!

(7) "If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him." (8) Philip said to Him, "Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us." (9) Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, 'Show us the Father'? (10) Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. John 14:6-10
In this passage, Jesus makes crystal clear for all who chose to believe without controversy or unnecessary questions, exactly who He is! I see with clarity that Jesus Christ is the Father and the Son (ONE in ALL)! He was asked to show them the Father and His response is direct enough; not in parables at all! Yet, some are willing to kill for this knowledge that is available to all in a free choice of believing or not! Jesus Christ is the Lord God Almighty!!!
