Are you Called by God or by man? If by God, why are you ashamed? Do you not trust Him to be Able to deliver on His every Word? Can you trust Him to keep all you entrust into His Holy Hands? Well, I believe my Calling is from God in Christ Jesus. I trust Him absolutely and I know that He is Able to deliver and to save and that His work over my life and family is complete in Jesus' Name because He never does half a job. He finishes excellently. My Lord God and King Jesus Christ. I love You o Lord and my hope and trust I put all fully in Your Holy Hands. After calling the apostles in, they flogged them and ordered them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and then released them. So they went on their way from the presence of the Council, rejoicing that they had been considered worthy to suffer shame for His name. And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they kept right on teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ. Acts 5:40-42 NASB
Have you ever been flogged and persecuted for speaking in the Name of Jesus before? If not, why do you boast as if you have? If yes, could you rejoice? Do you even want to suffer for the Name of Jesus, let alone consider it worthy? Do you even teach and preach the Word of God daily as God presents you with opportunities? Most of us are so hypocritical! We claim we are Christians but do not put to practice the tenets and lifestyle handed down to us by the Apostles of Jesus Christ and witnesses who have gone to the great beyond!!!
God did not give us a spirit of timidity but a spirit of power and love and self-control. Do not be ashamed then of testifying to our Lord, nor of me his prisoner, but share in suffering for the gospel in the power of God.

If you lack wisdom, the Bible says to ask God but to believe when you ask that you have received and not to doubt because a double minded person will receive absolutely nothing! So, be ready to suffer for the Gospel and stop being ashamed of His servants who suffer daily for His Name's sake because you are afraid of the persecutors! The persecutors are usually very powerful people who can hurt us; and this is why people fear them. Remember that God has not given us the spirit of fear nor timidity but one of power, love and a sound mind. Receive these in Jesus' Name!!!
When John, who was in prison, heard about the deeds of the Messiah, he sent his disciples to ask him, 'Are you the one who is to come, or should we expect someone else?' Jesus replied, 'Go back and report to John what you hear and see: the blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor. Blessed is anyone who does not stumble on account of me.' Matthew 11:2-6 (NIVUK)
When John the Baptist sent word to inquire of the Lord Jesus Christ to confirm His identity to be the Christ or not, Jesus sent word back to Him in parables so he would be sure! However, do you not wonder why Jesus Christ did nothing to save John the Baptist from being beheaded? So you are wondering why God allows some things to happen in this world? Learn from this fantastic example! Jesus Christ knew that John the Baptist was Sent ahead of Him; yet did not save him from death! John fulfilled his Calling and died s saint. All things work for the good of those who love the Lord and are called according to His purposes!!!
(26) You shall therefore keep My statutes and My judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations, either any of your own nation or any stranger who dwells among you (27) (for all these abominations the men of the land have done, who were before you, and thus the land is defiled), (28) lest the land vomit you out also when you defile it, as it vomited out the nations that were before you. Leviticus 18:26-28
The Word of the Lord is so powerful and to be obeyed; failing which calamity befalls such as disobey and fail to abide with God's Word! Do you know that a land can vomit out its inhabitants because of disobedience to God. Psalm 24 says the land belongs to God and all that is in it! God gives and can take away at will; He is the Lord God Almighty! So, let us all hearken unto His Word and not cross Him; because when He's cross with us and lashes out at us, it's never a funny business at all. God punishes evil wickedness and disobedience whether you believe this or not! He is the Lord and His Name is JESUS!!!
