Knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, "Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation." For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

You know scoffers by their words; they always question and ridicule the word of God. Don't bother wasting your time or life with them! They are lustful and will do anything to justify their way of life. Often they know the Word of God but wilfully ignore it for their own convenience to do as they wish! But one day, Judgement is coming upon the whole earth/world. Heaven and earth will pass away; but the Word of God shall remain Eternally! As per timing, human timing is not the same as God's Timing. In your eyes, God may appear not quick enough for you; however, consider wisely that God's Timing is perfect in Jesus Christ! God appears slow to act because He's Waiting for humans to make relevant changes according to His Word; but sadly, we often don't till it's too late! Lord, Help us not to be scoffers and to avoid associating or fellowshipping with them in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
Be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, in meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
2 Timothy 2:24-26 KJV
As a servant or child of God, you must do your best to fulfill your Calling and or Ministry with a gentle spirit. Especially with the opposition (and there will be plenty); perhaps it will please God in His infinite mercies to "Touch" their hearts and open them up to the knowledge of the Truth by repentance and humility, having been taken captive to do the devil's will previously. God be praised forever and ever. Amen! Father, Help us to be completely humble and gentle with the Help of Your Holy Spirit in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
Then Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to them, 'Sit here while I go over there and pray.' He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee along with him, and he began to be sorrowful and troubled. Then he said to them, 'My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.'
Matthew 26:36-38 (NIVUK)
There will be times in your life when you feel like Jesus did here! Do not despair because even friends will desert you just like family will too! But don't despair; trust in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. He Will See you through! Don't live your life in sin because your stressings will be in vain and not like this of our Lord Jesus Christ! Father, Help us to trust in You in times of crisis when our souls are troubled and we are sorrowful, in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
