Off his Live Recorded Album WIDE, David Nkennor releases this really beautiful worship song "Blessings and Honor. It is a song of worship that will draw you close into the realm of worship and praise.

The Album
The album, WORSHIP IS W.I.D.E 2 (acronym for What I Do Everytime), was recorded before a Live audience at the University of Lagos, Main Auditorium in April 2014. The recording comprises of anointed praise/worship songs and congregational anthems, mostly written by David Nkennor, and backed musically by Worship Culture (a team of independent worship Leaders). Featured in the team are ace Guitarist Gbolahan Odukoya (Guitars), Rock-singing Viva, David Okoye and Unwana Abigail Bassey, to mention a few. The album also features Victoria Orenze and Emmanuel Nkennor in a special bonus track - WE HAIL YOU.

MY PROFILE
Author of songs like 'Without restriction', 'Blessings and Honour' and more, David Nkennor is amongst Nigeria's most prolific worship leaders and songwriters. With a strong passion for God, a heart for humanity and a love for music, David is definitely a plus to the Nigeria's Gospel scene. He is no stranger to the Worship/Conference scene either, as he also features as a key Speaker at Music/Worship Conferences. Leading Worship on the piano, writing compelling congregational anthems and leading seminars are part of what makes up this inspiring young Music minister.

His singing career began in 1998, when David and some friends formed a 6-man acapella group by the name Babys Heart. Babys Heart gained a fair degree of popularity within a decade of ministering at several university campuses, concerts and churches across Nigeria, singing the redemptive news of the gospel through magnificent harmonies and rhythms. The group is comprised of several talented guys, including Emmanuel (David's older brother) and the prolific PITA, a successful recording/performing artiste today.

David currently serves as music pastor at the Manifold International Church in Lagos-Nigeria, under the leadership of Pastor Gideon Mba, a worshipper. He also heads 'Worship Culture', a team of independent worship leaders who minister with him at concerts, a member of The Worshippers Collective and is registered with CCLI(UK). David Nkennor's Live debut album 'Worship is W.I.D.E (what I do every time)' was released in 2009, and has influenced the worship in several churches across Nigeria, up North and down South. David is presently working on a second album release, whilst hosting pure worship events featuring Worship Culture and some of the nations prominent worshippers.

Born to Rev. & Pst.(Mrs) Raymond Nkennor in the early eighties, David grew up among five singing sibblings, and lots of Church music. His earliest influences however came from the likes of Bob Fitts, Terry Clark, Terry MacAlmon, Don Moen, Dr Panam Percy Paul, Michael W. Smith, Helen Baylor and others. David has had the privilege of touring various cities across the nation, sharing the stage with A-list Nigerian and Foreign Gospel Artistes, inspiring many Christians and Non-christians alike to engage in worship and the encounter of God. At the heart of what this young worshipper does is Jesus. Inviting people to engage with God through Jesus Christ. He is a graduate of Mathematics/Education from the University of Lagos and resides in Lagos-Nigeria
