We proclaim him (Jesus), admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. To this end I labor, struggling with all his energy, which so powerfully works in me.
Colossians 1:28,29 NIV
In proclaiming the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, you don't always have to be all "lovey-dovey" "nicey-nicey"! You need to be firm, tough and very disciplined, relaxed and yes as nice as possible, but seek to please the Commanding Officer and not your audience. This would augur much better for the presentation of a perfect audience in Christ Jesus. Strive hard for this and you can't go much wrong and God Will Surely be with you. Father, Help us to present
Your Word/Gospel with the needful passion, grace, discipline and relevant admonition in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
Therefore encourage one another and build up one another, just as you also are doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 NASB
As believers, strive always to edify and encourage your brethren. If that is your goal, you will love the brethren as yourself; loving God first with all you've got. Father, Help us to be encouragers and edifiers of other brethren's faiths in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. Romans 14:19 KJV
Believers must strive always to follow after the way of peace with everyone wherever it is within your power to make peace possible. Also, there is the need for edification of the brethren as against pulling each other down. Father, Help us to be at peace with and edify each other in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
Keep your tongue from evil And your lips from speaking deceit. Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it. Psalm 34:13,14 NIV
As believers, watch your tongue against speaking evil, lies and deceit. Avoid evil and all its appearances at all costs, do good, seek and pursue peace always. Lord, please Help us to keep out tongues from evil, seek peace and always do good in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Father’s Son, will be with us in truth and love. 2 John 1:3 (NIVUK)
May the Grace, Mercy and Peace of our Lord Jesus Christ, Father, Son and Holy Spirit; be with us who believe, in truth and love in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
(1) Let a man so consider us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. (2) Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful.
(3) But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by a human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself. (4) For I know of nothing against myself, yet I am not justified by this; but He who judges me is the Lord. (5) Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each one's praise will come from God. 1 Corinthians 4:1-5 NKJV
In whatever ministry the Lord Has Placed/Called you, strive for integrity and be faithful as a servant of the Lord. We shall all be Judged by God and will always be subject to harsh judgment and persecution from mankind. Only God Knows for real the perfect condition of the heart of mankind and Only God Can Make the very best Judgment; and His Judgment is Perfect! Father, Help us to live for You so that on the Day of Judgment, we shall not be found wanting in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
