A word for my enemies with or without cause. I am under the wrath of my God; do not rejoice over me though! What you do not understand is that it's better for me this way; that the Lord Has not Given me over to your captivity. God Knows your hearts and I know God's Heart.
My God is Loving and Merciful; and He Knows that you will not be. Father, I know that You Will Have Mercy on me in Jesus' Name. For this reason, we accept Your wrath upon us; knowing that in due season, You Will Free us from these shackles in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

You are an overcomer and have victory in proving your love for the Lord our God with your obedience to His Commandments! This is by faith and not by works though! Father, Help us to love You and to prove that we do by obeying Your Commandments in Jesus' Name.

The Yorubas (my people) pray that they may have joy in and over their children. I am sure even the children too look to have joy in and over their parents. So, it's not so difficult to understand that God Desires that we not only have His Joy (the Joy of the Lord which is our strength) in us; but also, that He may rejoice over us in having joy over us too. If we want our joy to be full, we must strive always to give Him joy. In pleasing the Lord by doing His Will, we give him joy; and in so doing, our joy shall be full. Father, Help us, that our joy may be full in You and that You may have joy in and over us in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
