Father, Help us to learn from and emulate the faith of those believers, the faithful ones, who have passed on to the great beyond in Jesus' Name.

She's being taken care of by our family, and we're positive she'll be back on her feet, stronger, and better for all her ordeal in Jesus Name.

The Akinbode family is grateful, and deeply indepted for the prayers, the love, the financial help and otherwise, that ordinary people, (most who do not even know Taiwo), showed towards our trial of faith, indeed the people's voice can be the voice of GOD.

In the world, sinful desires abound and find fulfilment in people's lives, warring against their souls. We are not to give in to such. Father, Help us to remember we are aliens in this world and not to partake nor give in to the sinful desires of the world in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!

We must immerse ourselves and be clothed with and in the Lord Jesus Christ; and make no room nor provide for the fleshly lusts and desires, not to fulfil them. We need God to Help in this regard. Father, Help us; Cover us with the Lord Jesus Christ, so as not to provide for nor fulfil the lusts and or desires of the flesh in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!

So I advise you to live according to your new life in the Holy Spirit. Then you won't be doing what your sinful nature craves. The old sinful nature loves to do evil, which is just opposite from what the Holy Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are opposite from what the sinful nature desires. In Jesus Christ, we who believe receive a new life. We are urged to live according to the Standard set by Jesus Christ for that new life. We are born again in Jesus Christ and refrain from all evil; but to do good always. Our thoughts, words and deeds must be in allignment with the Word of the Lord God Almighty in Jesus' Name. We are in constant battle against the forces of darkness. What the Spirit of God wants is always at war with what the sinful, lustful desires want. We have to make a choice every time. Father, Help us to make the right choice by Your Standard every time in our lives in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!

It's very attractive to the human soul to want to be like evil men who appear successful in all their ways and get envious of them! Do not follow the attraction. “CHIBOK GIRLS NOT AMONG GROUP RESCUED FROM SAMBISA FOREST”

Over 200 Chibok schoolgirls abducted in April 2014 by Boko Haram militants were not among a group of women and girls rescued by the Nigerian army in Sambisa forest Tuesday, the army has said.

The Nigerian military said troops rescued 200 girls and 93 women from the vast forest which served as a hideout for Boko Haram, the insurgent group that has killed nearly 20,000 people.

It could not however confirm whether the girls were students abducted from a secondary school in Chibok, Borno State, on April 14.

The military said the girls were being “screened and profiled” to determine where they came from.

“Troops this afternoon rescued 200 girls & 93 women from Sambisa Forest. We cannot confirm if the #ChibokGirls are in this group,” the defence headquarters said on Twitter Tuesday evening.

“Troops captured and destroyed 3 terrorists camps including the notorious Tokumbere camp in the Sambisa Forest Operation.

“The freed persons are now being screened and profiled,” while promising to provide more detail on the operation later.”

Defence spokesperson, Chris Olukolade, also told PRNigeria website, “I can only confirm the rescued this afternoon of 200 girls and 93 women in different camps in the forest. We are yet to determine their origin as all the freed persons are now being screened and profiled.”

But the spokesperson for the army, Sani Usman, a colonel, has told Reuters news agency the rescued girls were not, however, from Chibok.

Neither Mr. Olukolade nor Mr. Usman responded to calls Tuesday.

Reuters also quoted an intelligence source as saying the rescued girls and women will be screened on Wednesday to determine whether they had been abducted or if they were married to Boko Haram militants.

“Now they are excited about their freedom,” the source said. “Tomorrow there will be screenings to determine whether they are Boko Haram wives, whether they are from Chibok, how long they have been in the camps, and if they have children.”

Another source said the girls were found “near or on the way to Sambisa”.

KENNY KORE'S TWIN SISTER KIDNAPPED!!! | @kennykore

The twin sister of  Kenny K'ore, a gospel artist, has been kidnapped! Taiwo Oluwatoyin Akinbode (pictured above) traveled to Port Harcourt, Rivers State on Friday, April 16 for a job prospect when she fell into the well-set trap of the kidnappers. A ransom of N5m is being demanded from the family for her release.


 

It was a well-laid job opportunity scam on the internet that attracted Taiwo to PH - and her current ordeal. A source close to the family claimed Taiwo's two phones had gone quiet, except when the brother was called to make ransom demands. On a number of occasions, the unfortunate woman was heard wailing for help as she was apparently being tortured.

The family has contacted the police in Lagos, and PH, the Anti-kidnapping unit in Lagos and PH, SSS, NIA, AIG, and IG's office, but all have proved abortive

The Lord assures us who believe, trust and hope in Him that no matter what we face or go through in life, He Will Take Good Care of us. He Will never leave nor forsake us regardless of our circumstances. He Tells us not to fear, to be bold and courageous through all we go through. Is this possible? Yes, it is; with God, nothing is impossible! Lord, please Help us not to fear; Give us a fear-free, fearless heart that comes only from You in Jesus' Name.

Believers must not dwell on circumstances because the Army of God surrounds us to fight our battles even though we may not see them with our physical eyes. We must believe that we are Protected always in Jesus' Name. God is real and alive and keeps His Word and Promises! Father, Forgive us when we fear and Help us not to give in to fear in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!

Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass,
and wither as the green herb. Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Psalm 37:1-4 KJV

Believer, keep your focus on Jesus Christ, the Author and Finisher of our faith. That way, you will not dwell on nor fret/envy evil doers when they prosper in the land. Know this for sure; they will soon be cut off.
God's Hand is against all who do evil. You must continue doing good and trusting fully in God. Delight yourself in the Lord and He Will Give you the desires of your heart according to His Will for your life. Father, please Keep us focused on You and Your Word and not on evil doers and or their prosperity in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!

There is something called destiny and every human being has it. God Predestines our lives! God is the Master in full control of all lives as the Creator! He Knows the end from the beginning! He's Able to kill and bring to life again. He's Able to Bless and Curse. God Chooses whom He Blesses and or Favours! Who is like God? Nobody can ever be like God! Is it not better that we all humble ourselves, bow to God, honour Him and give Him His dues? Father, Help us to realise Your Supremacy and to bow to you and commit our lives and ways into Your Holy Hands in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!

When we are at our lowest and weakest, it's the hardest time for us to remember that the Power of the Lord Jesus Christ is made perfect at such times! However, we must strive to remember this, so we can put our full faith, hope and trust in Him! Who is ready to delight in such difficult times and boast about them? When you are weak you are strong; especially because the Power of Christ Rests upon you when in such circumstances as considered in the above Scriptures!!!

But as for me, I would seek God, And I would place my cause before God; Who does great and unsearchable things, Wonders without number. Trouble and affliction doesn't come from nowhere or from the dust! They come from mankind; for man is born for trouble as sparks fly upward.
However, to God be all the glory in my life and family; we shall trust in the Lord our God to take us through all situations and give us victory ultimately over all the trouble and affliction that we come across! The Lord our God is Good and His Mercies endure forever. Therefore, He Who Causes rain to fall onto the earth to water the fields, Sets the lowly on high and lifts those who mourn to safety Will see to all our needs in Jesus' Name. Amen. Father, Help us through all the trouble and affliction that we experience in our lives in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!

Dear children, keep yourselves from idols. 1 John 5:21 (NIVUK)

This is crisp and crystal clear. You need a clear-cut revelation of what idols are; so to stay well clear of them. Anything that is not GOD that our hearts bow to and that become things we cannot do without, or that take us away from GOD has become unto us as a god. Pray and meditate on the Word of God so you hear from God as to what is an idol! Father, Help us to stay clear of idols in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!

The heart of man is deceitful and desperately wicked. Mankind is extremely crafty and devious.
Evil manifests in different ways in the heart of man. This plays out in this particular Scriptural experience of King David above. He got caught out by the Man of God and his sin opened up to him (not that he did not know). He was penitent; God Forgave Him, but he paid a price (in terms of punishment) for his sin! God Can Forgive you; but don't be surprised that you may not go scotch free! Father, Help us to refrain from all and every evil in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
