The good or bad that we do eventually catches up with us all unfailingly! Our character reveals our heart's intentions too whether good or bad. Our character, like the good or bad that we do go ahead and trail behind us; ahead to the place of judgment and we leave them behind wherever we tread upon. Neither good nor bad is hidden or in vain; we reap whatever we sow. God cannot be mocked. Father, Help us to strive always to do good; so we may reap the fruits of righteousness in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
Therefore, putting aside all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility receive the word implanted, which is able to save your souls. But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves. James 1:22,23 NASB
Receive the Word of God into you; give up the filth of sin, evil and wickedness! The former is positively profitable for you and all who embrace the Word of God faithfully; the latter is deep trouble for those who chooose evil and very unprofitable. We all have a choice betweeen good and evil. If you choose the good, then you must prove yourself in daily practice of doing good as doers of the Word and not just deluders who speak it but do not prove with actions that they are doing good. Father, Help us not just to be listeners and hearers, but doers of good and righteousness in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. God alone is Good! I've heard quite a few so called preachers speak of how good they are! Very ridiculous; and arrogant! Can you imagine a young so called preacher who claimed that he heals a lot of people telling me that he's a great man of God? I told him this was very prideful and arrogant. He said I was jealous of him and full of bitterness and must repent or face the wrath of God. This is someone not as old as my youngest son! That's the type of world we live in today. May God Help us in Jesus' Name. Amen! Love! Keep the Commandments! Jesus Said so! Unlike what is popularly taught today! Trust not in man; but rather, trust in the Word of the Lord God Almighty! Father, Help us to obey Your Word as against the words of man in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully. 2 John 1:8 (NIVUK)
Be careful o believer! Watch your faith carefully and judge yourself so you will not be judged! Check yourself and test yourself to be sure you are still in the faith. It is so easy to stray away from the Faith! Be sure you are walking aright so that you will not lose out on the rewards of righteousness. Father, Help us to keep in line with Your Word and with our walking in faith in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
(6) But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6 NKJV
If you do not believe there is a God, how can you have faith in Him or believe that He Rewards diligence in seeking Him? Faith comes via hearing the Word of the Lord! Faith is a gift from God Almighty. Father, You Have Given us the Gift of faith; now help us to remain faithful to the very end in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
