No other friend like Jesus! Who could be trusted in this evil/cruel world eh? When He who had no sin walked this earth & needed support, who was there for Him? Let's learn lessons from His experience! The journey of faith is a very lonesome one! One must be willing to have fellowship with other people but be well prepared to go it alone because this will be the reality of the walk! Sometimes you are sure you are on the right track but derail because of taking your eyes off Jesus and focusing instead on what others are doing! May God Help us to stand as needful in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!

"He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not." Isaiah 53:3
Fulfillment:
And after a while came unto him they that stood by, and said to Peter, Surely thou also art one of them; for thy speech bewrayeth thee. Then began he to curse and to swear, saying, I know not the man. And immediately the cock crew." Matthew 26:73-74
What are you facing right now that you think Jesus Christ did not face the equivalent in terms of emotional upheaval? He was a Man of sorrows and well acquainted with grief! At times when we ought to stand up for Jesus, how often we simply deny Him every day! Remember, whatsoever you do unto one of My brothers, that you do unto Me! In the reverse, whatsoever you should have done for one of my brothers that you did not do, you deprived Me!!!
On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshipped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. And having been warned in a dream not to go back to Herod, they returned to their country by another route. Matthew 2:11-12 (NIVUK)
The three wise men from the East knew exactly what they were looking for and God Guided them! They were not worshiping the God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob! They had their eastern religious dispensation; yet God used them! He is God! They were requested by the evil king to disclose the whereabouts of the Holy One of God; but they "disobeyed" and God "Covered" them! Oh! The depths of the wisdom, knowledge and the Power of God Almighty!!!
(1) Gather yourselves together, yes, gather together, O undesirable nation, (2) Before the decree is issued, Or the day passes like chaff, Before the LORD's fierce anger comes upon you, Before the day of the LORD's anger comes upon you! (3) Seek the LORD, all you meek of the earth, Who have upheld His justice. Seek righteousness, seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden In the day of the LORD's anger.
Zephaniah 2:1-3
God is still Speaking to us all to gather and seek His Face before His Wrath comes upon the earth! This is inevitable because of the deception & wickedness of the heart of mankind! He Gives us a way out! How many will humble themselves and take up the offer of salvation/redemption? Oh Lord Help me to be as one of the meek seeking righteousness & humility, so as to be hidden in the day of the Lord's Anger. Help me in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
