JESUS CHRIST WAS CRUCIFIED! SOME STILL REFUSE TO BELIEVE; YET, FOR ALL OUR SAKES HE WAS CRUCIFIED!!! BY PROPHET FOLAYAN OSEKITA

And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, "They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots." And sitting down they watched him there; And set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS. Matthew 27:35-37 KJV

As prophesied, Jesus Christ was actually truly crucified! They cast lots for his garments accordingly! His chief accusation that He Called Himself King of the Jews was inscribed boldly above His head for all to see! O what a Holy Sacrifice that set me free and saved my soul from the pits of hell. Thank You Jesus! I will honour Your for the rest of my days! Halleluyah! Amen!!!

When they came to the place called the Skull, there they crucified Him, along with the criminals--one on His right, the other on His left. Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." And they divided up His clothes by casting lots. The people stood watching, and the rulers even sneered at him. They said, "He saved others; let Him save Himself if He is the Christ of God, the Chosen One." The soldiers also came up and mocked Him. They offered him wine vinegar and said, "If you are the king of the Jews, save yourself." Luke 23:33-37 NIV

"Saviour, save yourself" was the final mockery made of our Lord Jesus Christ. If you're the King of the Jews, then save yourself! He performed miracles including restoring life to the dead! He Had the Power to free Himself! But He considered our freedom and salvation over and above any personal gain. He set us free! Yet, what does He ask of us? We find it too hard to sacrifice anything or suffer for Him who bore our everything on the cross! What a great big mess we are really! We need You o Lord to Help sort us out in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!

After this Jesus, knowing that all was now finished, said (to fulfil the scripture), "I thirst." A bowl full of vinegar stood there; so they put a sponge full of the vinegar on hyssop and held it to his mouth. When Jesus had received the vinegar, he said, "It is finished"; and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. Since it was the day of Preparation, in order to prevent the bodies from remaining on the cross on the sabbath (for that sabbath was a high day), the Jews asked Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away. So the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first, and of the other who had been crucified with him; but when they came to Jesus and saw that he was already dead, they did not break his legs. But one of the soldiers pierced his side with a spear, and at once there came out blood and water. He who saw it has borne witness--his testimony is true, and he knows that he tells the truth--that you also may believe. John 19:28-35 RSV

"It is finished"! Hmmm! For this prophesy to be true in your life and mine, we need to believe this sacrifice took place and that He Rose again and is coming back again to Judge all living and dead! He was given wine vinegar on hyssop! They even wanted to break his legs and instead pierced his side even though He was already dead! Wow! Humans! What a deceitful and desperately wicked heart we've got! Just imagine what the Lord Jesus Christ went through for our sakes! Is this not enough for us to devote our lives to Him for good? Hmmm! Help us o Lord in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!

Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death. You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. When you are persecuted in one place, flee to another. Truly I tell you, you will not finish going through the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes. Matthew 10:21-23 (NIVUK)

Is this not happening in the world today? As it is written prophetically, so it's happening in our daily realities! For the sake of Jesus Christ, look at how much hatred is in the world against believers! Look at how much we're suffering and our brethren all over the world. But we are instructed to stand firm to the very end and we shall be saved in Jesus' Name! Do not force yourself on anyone or place. If you are persecuted in one place, flee to another! If only we would stop trying to please the world, we would be more effective as ministers of the Gospel!!!
