When you sin, it brings you true shame as a believer; but when you suffer just for your faith, you should never be ashamed. That's why the Bible says that you should strive not to live in sin to bring shame, not just upon yourself, but upon the Name of the Lord and the Faith!!! Hmmm!!!
We glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: and hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit which is given unto us. Romans 5:3-5 KJV
Rejoice when you face tribulations; because they are effective to bring you spiritual blessings and increase in terms of patience, experience, hope etc.! Your hope will not bring you to shame; because it will be fulfilled in Christ Jesus. You will also receive the gift of Love from God shed from Heaven above into your heart through the Holy Spirit in Jesus' Name, given unto you as a believer!!!
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15 NIV
You need to study the Word of God to perfection; in so doing, you present yourself to God as a worthy vessel He can use for His Glory in propagating and correctly discerning the Word of God in this world that we live in in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
That is why I am so eager to preach the gospel also to you who are at Rome. I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. Romans 1:15-16 NIV
When your confidence as a believer is fully and totally in Jesus Christ, He Empowers and Emboldens you to push forward in the Name of the Lord with the propagating of the Message of the Cross! This Gospel is the Power of God for saving those who choose to believe (Jew or Gentile)!!!
Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, 'Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand. If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then can his kingdom stand? And if I drive out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your people drive them out? So then, they will be your judges. But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. Matthew 12:25-28 (NIVUK)
No unit divided against itself can stand the test of time! Jesus Christ Himself was questioned in terms of the authenticity of the Power that was upon Him and His Ministry. Even when He performed miracles, some said He was using demonic powers. When the Holy Spirit Works in a person and you accuse them of using evil powers, then you sin against the Holy Spirit!!!
(13) We, however, will not boast beyond measure, but within the limits of the sphere which God appointed us—a sphere which especially includes you. (14) For we are not overextending ourselves (as though our authority did not extend to you), for it was to you that we came with the gospel of Christ; (15) not boasting of things beyond measure, that is, in other men's labors, but having hope, that as your faith is increased, we shall be greatly enlarged by you in our sphere, (16) to preach the gospel in the regions beyond you, and not to boast in another man's sphere of accomplishment. 2 Corinthians 10:13-16
If we boast as believers, we shall boast in the Name of the Lord and according to the territory God gave us to minister in and cover. We shall not lord it over those under our authority and or sphere of influence and ministry. Also, we shall not usurp other people's work either. We continue to hope for an increase in our overall sphere of ministry, influence and covering in Jesus' Name; to God's Glory, through the Holy Spirit and not through the hand of man! Amen!!!
