IT’S BECAUSE OF THE CAUSE BY BIODUN FATOYINBO.

The chant of hundreds singing, “Mma mma (Thank you)”, could be heard miles off. As the number of the saints swelled into the thousands, their voices snowballed into a sound that could not be ignored. Joined by the official choir of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, the Avalanche, the cried, “Holy, Holy, Holy!” With lifted hands, they raised the King. With raised voices, they praised the Lord. Beginning service with worship was beginning service on a spiritual bang.

Reading from Psalm 47 v 1 – 2, Pastor ‘Modele Fatoyinbo (Co-senior Pastor of COZA), led the people into declaring that the Lord is over all that concerns them. They spent good time speaking in tongues, and sealing destiny. They declared that God reigns in their affairs. They declared their lifting, by God, over every challenge.

The Avalanche rolled out a most encouraging rendition of Tye Tribbett’s He Turned It that got the house jumping off their seats, and jumping all around the house of God.

Reverend Biodun Fatoyinbo, the Senior Pastor, urged all to raise their hands to heaven, declaring, “thank You for turning it!” He read to the people from 1 Samuel 17 v 4, 16 – 22. “It’s because of the cause”, was the title of the sermon.

Highlights

The grace you ‘collect’ in church isn’t for church; it’s for the taking over the world.

The devil wants you to believe you ought to live an ordinary life, but you are called to takeover.

You are not here to take sides; you are here to take over. You are a champion.

Champions don’t joke with moments.

Wisdom is the ability to recognize moments.

It takes greatness to recognize greatness.
