Love can easily be faked; not so for the believer! Have sincere love for your brethren and be devoted to each other in love! Place others above yourself in terms of honoring them. Your love must be unselfish and real!!!

Our model of and for love is Jesus Christ our Lord, God and King. He Instructed us to love each other as He Loved us; this would be how all mankind will know and appreciate us as disciples of Jesus Christ. How are we loving each other? Are we? Do we love each other as brethren followers of Jesus Christ? Time for reality check!!!
Through Him you have confidence in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God. Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere love of the brethren, love one another earnestly from the heart. 1 Peter 1:21,22 RSV
Through this Jesus Christ, our confidence in God is rooted and well grounded; for He Raised Jesus Christ from the dead and gave Him Glory, that enables our faith and hope to be in God Almighty! Obeying the truth purifies our souls and that in turn enables us to have sincere love for our brethren. Purity of souls is what motivates and powers true love, activated by the Holy Spirit. Love must be sincere and earnest from the heart! Love, love, love!!!
Or again, how can anyone enter a strong man's house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man? Then he can plunder his house. Matthew 12:29 (NIVUK)
No one can rob a strong man unless having first disarmed and disabled that strong man. So, be on the lookout for satan is always trying hard to get your armor of God off you so he can enter your life and pollute it and ultimately take it over completely. Pray ceaselessly and keep the faith. The only thing that matters is faith that works through love. Have faith and keep loving!!!
(9) Also He spoke this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: (10) "Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. (11) The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, 'God, I thank You that I am not like other men—extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. (12) I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.' Luke 18:9-12
Many have come to erroneously trust in the self so much that they become so arrogant and insensitive to the plight of their neighbors. God reckons with the humble; and favors them. Jesus gave them a parable to illustrate this for an admonition. Heed the Word of the Living God for your own benefit and for that of your listeners when you testify and witness to the Truth!!!
