The LORD will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven. Deuteronomy 28:7 NIV
The Lord God Almighty never promised that when you are on His Side you will never have enemies that will come against you time and time again! No! However, He gives us full assurance that our enemies will be defeated in our presence (before us)! Even though they might come against us from one direction (could be more), they will be dealt such a blow that they will flee in multiples of seven directions per line of attacking us! This is a great message from the Lord for they that believe! Do you believe? So, why do you fear so much? Fear not; at least not if your hope and trust you put firmly in the Lord God Almighty in Jesus Christ! Amen!!!
That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life. Luke 1:74,75 KJV
Why has the Lord made these promises? Of course there is a reason behind everything God does. He's not a flippant nor an idle God! It's all so we may serve Him fearlessly; but in holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our lives! Who is on the Lord's Side? Who is prepared to serve Him as He Designed it to be. Who is ready to follow His pattern and standard! We make all sorts of excuses just not to do His Will; including saying that His Standard is archaic and must be "modernised"!!!
"No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; And every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their vindication is from Me," declares the LORD. Isaiah 54:17 NASB
The Lord Empowers those who believe in Him to condemn every accusing tongue in judgment; and will never allow any weapon formed against us to prosper. He will frustrate all the plans of our enemies and foil their attacks! This is the heritage of God's servants and their vindication of from the Lord!!!
He told them still another parable: 'The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into about thirty kilograms of flour until it worked all through the dough.' Jesus spoke all these things to the crowd in parables; he did not say anything to them without using a parable. So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet: 'I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world.'
Matthew 13:33-35 (NIVUK)
Still on the Kingdom of Heaven; Jesus told the people that it's potential is such that it will spread like a little yeast that is mixed into a sizable amount of flour that works through all of the flour. Jesus always spoke in parables in fulfillment of Biblical prophesy; that He would speak in parables about things hidden since the world began! O! The depths of the richness of the Wisdom of God!!!
(10) Now therefore, be wise, O kings; Be instructed, you judges of the earth. (11) Serve the LORD with fear, And rejoice with trembling.
Psalm 2:10-11
(11) Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD. Psalm 34:11
Now the Lord is Reaching and Calling out to all and sundry to come and listen; learn fearfully (of God) of the ways of God and the fear of God which is the beginning of all wisdom. Wisdom is crying out in the street corners and every nook and cranny! Anyone listening? Hmmm! Yes Lord! I want the Wisdom of God for my life; please give me Your Wisdom in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
