AFRICA’S OLDEST PREACHER, PA SADELA IS DEAD!

Arguably Africa’s  oldest preacher, Pa Samuel Akinbode Sadela,  is  dead. Sadela, founder of the Gospel Apostolic Church (GAC), passed on last sunday at the age 113.  Indications all is not well with the aged preacher played out with his absence from the church service last Sunday.  Pa Sadela, who shocked the Christiandom in 2007 when he married 30-year-old Christianah has thrown his congregation and teeming followers into mourning.

Sadela first got married in 1934, and the marriage lasted for 21 years, but none of the couple’s seven children lived beyond their infancy.

His  second marriage which  consumated in 1965, was blessed with four children, but only two survived.
His second wife died in 2001.

Fate made him to  meet the new woman of his life,  who is 77 years younger.  He claimed his s*xual prowess came from God.


A condolence register has since been opened in the church
