Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Colossians 3:5 NKJV
Submit to God everything that is sinful or sin inducing in your life! Give up fully on worldliness and all friendliness with such to avoid being an enemy to God! May God Enable you by the Power of His Holy Spirit so to do increasingly in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
For while we were living in the flesh, our sinful passions, aroused by the law, were at work in our members to bear fruit for death. But now we are released from the law, having died to that which held us captive, so that we serve not under the old written code but in the new life of the Spirit.
Romans 7:5,6 ESV
You do have the choice to stop living in the flesh, bearing fruits unto death. You can choose to die to what has held you captive; held down by the law with its old written codde. You have the opportunity and choice to live a new life of and in the Holy Spirit Granted by Christ Jesus unto all who choose and believe in His Testament! O Lord our God, how excellent Your Name is in all the earth!!!
"Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you."
2 Corinthians 6:17 KJV
We are expressly Instructed of the Lord to come out from among the heathens etc. and separate ourselves unto the Lord our God to serve and love Him. We must touch no unclean thing! Then the Lord Will receive us! This is not unconditional love at all is it now? This is fully and deliberately conditional! God is Great and He does not lie. He Created us and Knows what is best for us and we must trust Him to Know exactly what He is doing; so we just obey Him!!!
When they came to the crowd, a man approached Jesus and knelt before him. 'Lord, have mercy on my son,' he said. 'He has seizures and is suffering greatly. He often falls into the fire or into the water. I brought him to your disciples, but they could not heal him.' 'You unbelieving and perverse generation,' Jesus replied, 'how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy here to me.' Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed at that moment.
Matthew 17:14-18 (NIVUK)
Listen to Jesus' words against the fact laid bare that His disciples could not heal the suffering boy! If that were to happen today, how would you consider Him? What would you say of Him? Hmmm! Truth be told; our Lord Jesus Christ is not what is generally presented! Be very careful and afraid for the Lord our God is an Awesome God; all-consuming Fire! He is Powerful beyond measure and Able to Deliver and Save all who trust in Him!!!
(34) "But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. (35) For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. (36) Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man." Luke 21:34-36
If you do not take heed (check and discipline yourself), your heart will be weighed down with sins common to mankind as named! Suddenly the Day of the Lord shall come upon you and then it will be too late to repent and you shall receive your just reward! Therefore, watch and pray so you will stand before the Lord on that day unblemished in Jesus' Name. Amen! Lord, please help us who truly look only up to You to make it on that day; for we need You and cannot make it on our own!!!
