Grammy award winning rapper Lecrae has made history by becoming the first Gospel act ever to hit the number 1 spot on the Billboard 200.
Lecrae who sold a whopping 88,000 units in the first week of album sales has gone from strength to strength in the last few years and is supported by a loyal fan-base. Beating the likes of Maroon 5 and Jhene Aiko to the top spot, Christian urban music is very much as relevant as ever and Lecrae is a testament to this.
