LIFE AFTER AJANAKU’S DEATH: TOPE ALABI’S CAREER ON THE RISE… IN NEW YORK FOR CONCERT
The name Tope Alabi has been a constant fixture, and it is well regarded in the music industry in general and the gospel circuit in particular, reports E24-7Magazine.

Every soul seeking for succour easily turned to her music and gets lifted by her unique voice. Lovers of Yoruba movies know they are in for a good time in front of their TV sets once they hear her voice on the sound track of a movie.

However, when she fell apart with her erstwhile and late spiritual father, Prophet Iretiola Ajanaku, he was reported to have announced that the anointing he placed on Tope Alabi has been withdrawn and given to a newly discovered singer in the church, Ifemide.

Since Ajanaku’s dramatic passage,, a walk across the streets and bus stops in Lagos still offers pedestrians the usual sound of Tope Alabi’s hit songs. Besides, sh has become a constant feature at social events of people with Christain backgrounds, especially weddings, crusades, and other special programmes in churches. At her annual Praise The Almighty Concert, the last edition held at the Blue Roof, LTV 8, was not only massive, it was spirit-filled. Currently on tour of the United States of America, her engagements are listed currently in New York Music Concerts Events Calendar, backed by her versatile band, Gospel Vibes under the leadership of her husband, Soji Alabi. She’s expected back in Nigeria to honour all her December engagements.
