"For through the Law I died to the Law, so that I might live to God."I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. Galatians 2:19,20 NASB
The Jesus Christ experience that I have has changed my life; for I was "Touched" in a most profound way. I have thus been crucified with Him; and the life that I live now is not me at all, but Jesus Christ living His Life through me! This is all enabled by faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God; He loved me and gave Himself up for me and in my place. O, how I love You Lord; because You first loved me! Please o Father, do not let Your Sacrifice be in vain over my life family and ministry, in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written, "For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered." No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:35-39 ESV
Nothing this evil wicked and cruel world throws at me to dislodge me in their father's name (satan) shall separate me from the love of Jesus Christ. No matter what guise they come in, I shall not be moved. I refuse to look and or focus on circumstances; I shall keep my focus firmly upon the Christ, who died for me and set me free from bondage to sin and this world/flesh. I will praise Him from everlasting to everlasting. I will live for Jesus day after day; come what may! I will obey His Holy Spirit. Please o Lord, Help me in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
(1) The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah concerning the droughts. (2) "Judah mourns, And her gates languish; They mourn for the land, And the cry of Jerusalem has gone up. (3) Their nobles have sent their lads for water; They went to the cisterns and found no water. They returned with their vessels empty; They were ashamed and confounded And covered their heads. (4) Because the ground is parched, For there was no rain in the land, The plowmen were ashamed; They covered their heads. (5) Yes, the deer also gave birth in the field, But left because there was no grass.
(6) And the wild donkeys stood in the desolate heights; They sniffed at the wind like jackals; Their eyes failed because there was no grass." (7) O LORD, though our iniquities testify against us, Do it for Your name's sake; For our backslidings are many, We have sinned against You.
(8) O the Hope of Israel, his Savior in time of trouble, Why should You be like a stranger in the land, And like a traveler who turns aside to tarry for a night? (9) Why should You be like a man astonished, Like a mighty one who cannot save? Yet You, O LORD, are in our midst, And we are called by Your name; Do not leave us! (10) Thus says the LORD to this people: "Thus they have loved to wander; They have not restrained their feet. Therefore the LORD does not accept them; He will remember their iniquity now, And punish their sins." (11) Then the LORD said to me, "Do not pray for this people, for their good. (12) When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and grain offering, I will not accept them. But I will consume them by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence."
(13) Then I said, "Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, the prophets say to them, 'You shall not see the sword, nor shall you have famine, but I will give you assured peace in this place.'" (14) And the LORD said to me, "The prophets prophesy lies in My name. I have not sent them, commanded them, nor spoken to them; they prophesy to you a false vision, divination, a worthless thing, and the deceit of their heart. (15) Therefore thus says the LORD concerning the prophets who prophesy in My name, whom I did not send, and who say, "Sword and famine shall not be in this land"—"By sword and famine those prophets shall be consumed! (16) And the people to whom they prophesy shall be cast out in the streets of Jerusalem because of the famine and the sword; they will have no one to bury them—them nor their wives, their sons nor their daughters—for I will pour their wickedness on them."
Jeremiah 14:1-16
When the Lord is unhappy with mankind, He punishes us in His own special way. No man can escape the Judgement of God! As man cannot escape, so nations do not escape His Judgements! However, God Provides a way of escape mostly. He said in His Word that if My people who are called by my Name will humble themselves and pray, forsaking their evil ways; I would hear from Heaven, answer their prayers and heal their land! God may use famine, the sword, or things we call "natural disasters" to punish mankind; and allow things that we see as most vile to happen. Many often get so angry and speak rashly about God rather than humbly seek His Face and petition Him for mercy!
In the midst of all of this, there are some who ought to know better; they claim the Lord has Sent them and prophesy good upon the land and keep assuring the people that all is and will be well. Rather than instructively admonish counsel and warn the people to desist from iniquity, they prophesy good. God says He will punish them and those who listen to them. This means everyone has the responsibility to draw near to God and seek out His Will for themselves otherwise face the wrath of God. Father, Help us to stay on the right side of Your Word and when we fail, Help Guide us back home to You in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
