WITH THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST, @Osekita REMINDERS ARE MOST ESSENTIAL! FOR ETERNAL LIFE, THE PERISHABLE MUST GIVE WAY TO THE IMPERISHABLE! JESUS WAS BORN IN A MANGER!!! BY PROPHET FOLAYAN OSEKITA

I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 NIV

When you receive the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, it's essential that you do not forget it! So, you need to put to practice what you learnt and keep reading the Word of God to feed your spirit continuously! The Saving Grace is dynamic; not static. The love of God does not end! Position yourself such that you are in good stead; ready to receive the Blessings of God in abundance in Jesus' Name. Amen. Father, please keep me well oiled and rooted in the Gospel of my Lord Jesus Christ in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!

For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory." "O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?" The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain. 1 Corinthians 15:53-58 ESV

Power must change hands! Death will not have victory over any saint of God (true believer). If in Christ Jesus, even though you may die, yet shall you live again. One day, soon and very soon, the perishable body shall arise and take on a new imperishable body (glorious body) to be with the Lord forevermore! Please meditate on the follow words - the sting of death is sin and the law is the power of sin! Keep yourself busy doing the Lord's work because that is the only work that the labour will never be in vain! Help us o Lord and Lead us o Father to be busy and led by You in our lives every day in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!

Just then a man came up to Jesus and asked, 'Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?' 'Why do you ask me about what is good?' Jesus replied. 'There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.' 'Which ones?' he enquired. Jesus replied, '"You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, honour your father and mother," and "love your neighbour as yourself."' 'All these I have kept,' the young man said. 'What do I still lack?' Jesus answered, 'If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.' When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth. Matthew 19:16-19 (NIVUK)

To get Eternal Life Jesus Christ told the man to keep the Commandments! Why do some of your teachers tell you that the Old Testament is irrelevant because of the advent of the same Jesus Christ who gave the above answer when asked directly? Hmmmm! You better read the Word of God for yourself lest you be found wanting on that Day! In addition, give up the world and build up treasures in Heaven; this is very explicit. The young man, very wealthy was very sad because he was very wealthy! The thought of giving up all his wealth saddened him. Where do you think his treasure was? In Jesus Christ or in his wealth? Think my people! Think! Help us o Lord to order our priorities right. Order our steps o Lord in Jesus' Name I pray thankfully. Amen!!!

(4) Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, (5) to be registered with Mary, his betrothed wife, who was with child. (6) So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered. (7) And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. Luke 2:4-7

God's reckoning is not by human worldly standards! Jesus Christ could have been born with a silver spoon in his mouth! But no; He was born in a humble place, a manger! How excellent our God is! Can you imagine! The Lord of lords and King of all kings; Wonderful, Counselor, Everlasting Father, Eternal God, the Rock of Ages was born in a manger! God is great. This is a great lesson in itself to behold! So, why does it matter so much to you where you live and how you live; that you must always excel above all your peers or else you will never have joy? Hmmm! Teach us Your Wisdom o Lord; this is the only way we shall be free from worldliness. In Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
