Justice will dwell in the desert and righteousness live in the fertile field. The fruit of righteousness will be peace; the effect of righteousness will be quietness and confidence forever. My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest.
Isaiah 32:16-18 NIV
The justice and righteousness required by the Lord in following Him is not only applicable to leaders in any nation but also to followers too! Leaders are chosen from amongst the people; of the people are not versed in doing rightly and justly with each other, how easy would it be for them to learn when in leadership? Hmmm! Study the Scripture above carefully and learn; hopefully, obey the Word of God and live the best you can on the earth and make the most of the life that you have been Given by God. Lord, Help us to learn to live and apply justice and righteousness in our daily living with each other in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
Many nations shall come and say, "Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths." For out of Zion the law shall go forth, And the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. He shall judge between many peoples, And rebuke strong nations afar off; They shall beat their swords into plowshares, And their spears into pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, Neither shall they learn war anymore.
Micah 4:2,3 NKJV
At the end of the Day, God Will Have His Way! He Will Rebuild the ruins of Jerusalem and put His Spirit in His Chosen; and they will live according to His Statutes, Commandments and Laws. Justice will flow with Righteousness. There will be no more need for war anymore and peace shall abound like a river; with the Lord rebuking even the strong nations from oppressing the weaker ones! Wow! What a Mighty God we have and serve! Father, may it be unto us according to Your Promises; Help us o Lord, Teach us to live justly and do righteously in the lands and according to Your Holy Word in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
'Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those tenants?' 'He will bring those wretches to a wretched end,' they replied, 'and he will rent the vineyard to other tenants, who will give him his share of the crop at harvest time.' Matthew 21:40-41 (NIVUK)
The owner of the vineyard represents leadership; and possesses the power to act against all evil doers as far as his business and other interests are concerned! All wrongdoing shall be punished; for he does not hold the rod/staff of authority for nothing! Leadership have a privilege and authority to act to punish and make right! Lord, Help us to apply Your Word to our lives daily and be prepared for leadership opportunities even as we live our daily lives with our brethren in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
(29) "When the LORD your God cuts off from before you the nations which you go to dispossess, and you displace them and dwell in their land, (30) take heed to yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you do not inquire after their gods, saying, "How did these nations serve their gods? I also will do likewise." (31) You shall not worship the LORD your God in that way; for every abomination to the LORD which He hates they have done to their gods; for they burn even their sons and daughters in the fire to their gods. (32) "Whatever I command you, be careful to observe it; you shall not add to it nor take away from it. Deuteronomy 12:29-32
Whenever God Blesses you with spoils belonging to His enemies, He Knows that their ways are very attractive and will be so to His children. However, God Counsels us not to follow their evil ways and practices; but rather to obey the Commandments of the Lord our God and act according to His Counsel to us. This way we shall continue to live and enjoy His Love and Blessings! Otherwise, we shall come under His wrath. Hence, Blessings for obedience and curses for disobedience! To enjoy God's Love and Blessings, we have a part to play. That is fully conditional and will never change! May God Give us the wisdom to learn and know the truth; that we might be truly free. For, only the Truth can set us free, in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
