The Name of the Lord is a formidable Shield, Buckler, Fortress, Defense for the believer! He is very reliable and trust worthy indeed, in every possible way - including ways that you cannot think of! Blessed be the Name of the Lord! Thank You Lord Jesus!!!
The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: He shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. Psalm 121:5-8 KJV
The Lord Will Keep you when you put all your hope/trust in Him. You will come to no harm (even though you may be tested fiercely)! You will be protected and preserved from all evil in both your going out and coming in forever in Jesus' Name. I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies! The Lord Reigneth! Blessed be the Lord; may the Rock of my salvation be exalted! The Lord Reigneth! The redeemed of the Lord are known to the Lord and called by name; they are His! No matter what they go through in life, they will come to no harm; nor in their own strength, but just because they belong to the Holy One of Israel! He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the LORD, "My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." If you allow yourself to be humble enough to dwell in the shelter of the Most High God, you will abide in the Shadow of the Almighty! Then you can have confidence to witness and testify to the fact that the Lord is indeed your refuge and fortress! You no longer have need for fear! Just trust in God and be always conscious of His Divine Protection and trust fully in Him! Regardless of what happens even around you, you will be Kept Safe by His Mighty Presence around you. I submit myself fully to You o Lord; please be my family's shelter from all evil in this world in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money-changers and the benches of those selling doves. 'It is written,' he said to them, '"My house will be called a house of prayer," but you are making it "a den of robbers."' Matthew 21:12-13 (NIVUK)
The wrath of the Lord came upon those desecrating the Temple! Do not think that because God is Love and forgives etc. that He Will not punish sin and rebellion! Many take the Name of the Lord for granted. Let us remember how He disciplined Israel! Although the Father punishes the son that He Loves, it is futile and very dangerous to keep trying God willfully; for He is an Awesome God, an all-consuming Fire! Lord, I pray that You do not let Your wrath come upon me in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
(16) Take heed to yourselves, lest your heart be deceived, and you turn aside and serve other gods and worship them, Deuteronomy 11:16
Check yourselves believers and test yourselves that you are still in the faith; so that your hearts are not deceived to turn aside to serve and worship other gods! You can have the Lord's Protection and all; but you have a responsibility to check yourself and strive to stay on the Lord's side and not bend towards the worldly ways and paths. Father, please, keep my heart and family so as not to stray away from Your Ways in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
