Marathon Messiah’s Praise is the gathering of God’s children simply to praise God for His faithfulness and mercy for the life of Pastor E. A. Adeboye.
In 2011, when preparations for his [Pastor E. A. Adeboye] 70th birthday was going on, a group of young people gathered and thought of what gift to present him. When they could not think of any material gift to offer, a suggestion came, “why not we organise an event that will gather people together to praise God for 70 hours since daddy loves praising God.”
This time, it came out bigger and better, not only praise God, but also organising a couching workshop for intending and existing worship leaders, as well as introduce new praise and worship songs that enrich our worship experiences in our local churches.
MMPraise is not about anybody but God. We are simply tapping into the grace of God in Pastor E. A. Adeboye’s life. Its a time for each individual to develop a personal worship experience with God. MMPraise is not a musical concert, its not a show or a talent hunt. Its simply a time for spirit filled worship.
For 73 hours Marathon Messiah’s Praise, kick-off on Monday 2nd March and ended Thursday 6th March 2015, This event was largely supported by volunteers who see to it that the programme is a success.
