Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies. Psalm 41:1,2 KJV
If the Lord Stirs your heart to Bless the poor and needy and you oblige, you will be very Blessed. God Will preserve your life and protect you and all that is yours on earth; God Will not allow your enemies to prevail over you and Will frustrate their every plan and effort against you.
Father, Touch our hearts and lives with a generosity of spirit that is from You in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
The poor are shunned even by their neighbors, but the rich have many friends. He who despises his neighbor sins, but blessed is he who is kind to the needy. Proverbs 14:20,21 NIV
When you are poor, you won't have many friends; even some of your friends will abandon you! However, if you are rich, you will have many friends; of course with different intentions! Rich or poor though, God Will Bless you if you are kindly towards the less privileged! Father, Help us to have a heart of compassion; especially towards the less privileged that we come across in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed; 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 NASB
When you give, it is a sowing (as in sowing seeds)! If you are frugal in sowing, your gains from such will also be frugal. However, if you are very generous in your giving, your reaping will also be very generous indeed! When you give, do so out of conviction and a willingness to do so and not out of compulsion. Remember in all your giving, that God Loves a cheerful giver; which connotes a willingness of heart and a generosity of spirit to give in the first place! God Will Ensure that you have an abundance to meet every need and more if you are of the cheerful mindset in your giving. Father, Help us to give with the right spirit in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
(25) But Jesus rebuked him, saying, "Be quiet, and come out of him!" (26) And when the unclean spirit had convulsed him and cried out with a loud voice, he came out of him. (27) Then they were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, "What is this? What new doctrine is this? For with authority He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him." (28) And immediately His fame spread throughout all the region around Galilee.
Mark 1:25-28 NKJV
Giving is not only about money at all. Jesus Christ Gave all of Himself in every way possible; even unto death on the Cross for all humanity! Healing and miracles were part of the Lord Jesus Christ's generosity of spirit package; He Gave willingly and freely. Of course people around Him notices and many were simply amazed. However, He also attracted the envy, wrath and jealousy of many; which ultimately led Jesus Christ to the Cross. Father, Help us to emulate Your Spirit for life in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
