1 Corinthians 15:1-4 NIV
Have you heard the true Gospel? If so, hold firmly onto it; lest you believe in vain. That Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. He died for our sins; was buried and raised from the dead on the third day. He lives forevermore and is coming back again to judge both the quick and the dead. His Judgment Shall be swift and just. Father, we have heard the Gospel, Help us to hold firmly onto it in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory." "O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?" The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.
1 Corinthians 15:53-58 ESV
Soon and very soon, we are going to see the Lord! Halleluyah! Then death will be swallowed up in victory. The power of death will be overcome. The victory and sting of death would become nothingness. This Victory is from God through Jesus Christ our Lord Saviour God and King. Stand from therefore brethren; no shaking! Make yourself busy doing the Lord's work; for only in so doing is your labour never in vain. Everything else is vanity upon vanity. Father, Prepare us in and out of season for the victory to come; so we would be partakers. Help us to stand firm; in anticipation of the change from mortality to immortality, from perishable to imperishable, all in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
1 John 4:10-12 (NIVUK)
What is love? That we love God is nothing. Love is that God loved us and came to humanity in the flesh through Jesus Christ, Who became an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Should we not follow His example and love each other? Loving each other is what proves that God lives in us and that in us, God's Love is made complete.
Father, Help us to appreciate and value Your love and to love one another inJesus' Name. Amen!!!
(24) And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, (25) in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth,
2 Timothy 2:24-25 NKJV
The servant of the Lord must not get angry easily or quarell; he must be gentle to all. In serving the Lord, the servant must be competent to teach, patient, humble even in correcting or dealing with the opposition. God alone is Able to cause repentance in anyone; only God Can Reveal the truth to people and change their hearts. Father, Help us to adopt Your style of leadership and effective service in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
