I am not writing this to shame you, but to warn you, as my dear children. Even though you have ten thousand guardians in Christ, you do not have many fathers, for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel. Therefore I urge you to imitate me. 1 Corinthians 4:14-16 NIV
When you are Blessed to have a father figure who teaches and instructs you in the way of godliness, then strive to follow his example! If a mother, do likewise! It is ultimately profitable unto you to follow godly example. Father, Help us to be wise and to follow good example in the way of godliness in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; Ephesians 5:1 NASB
"Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
Matthew 5:48 NASB
We have a wonderful Standard and Example in Jesus Christ the Lord our God and King! He Has Spoken in His Word that we emulate Him in holiness and in perfection! It seems impossible for man; but nothing is impossible with God. The just must live by faith. With faith all things are possible to them who believe. I choose to believe. Will you? Father, Help us to imitate You in every way in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
"Love your enemies! Do good to them! Lend to them!
And don't be concerned that they might not repay. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for he is kind to the unthankful and to those who are wicked. 36You must be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate. Luke 6:35
God allows His Blessings to touch even the wicked when He Rains them down on humanity! He urges us in His Word to love our enemies and do goo to those who hurt us; not just to those who are able to reciprocate and or thank us! Father, Grant us the grace to emulate You in every way o Lord in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. Hebrews 6:11,12 KJV
Believers are urged to learn about and imitate the faith of those gone by. This is good and pleases the Lord our God. In your faith walk, who do you seek to please? Yourself, friends, family etc. or God? In living and walking the faith life, we must strive to be diligent; for God is a Rewarder of all who diligently seek Him! Father, Help us to learn from and emulate the faith of those believers, the faithful ones, who have passed on to the great beyond in Jesus' Name.

And now, dear lady, I am not writing you a new command but one we have had from the beginning. I ask that we love one another. And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love 2 John 1:5-6 (NIVUK)
Love if obeying God's Commandments! His Commandments are all rooted in Love for God and for each other as ourselves! Are God's Commands too burdensome for us to obey? No, not really; not at all! We stray because of our fleshly, worldly desires that war against our spirits all the time. We tend to go with the flesh; that is why we need God. Help us o Lord to obey Your Commandments and resist the devil and strive not to fulfill the desires of youth and the flesh in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
(7) Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. (8) He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. (9) In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. (10) In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. (11) Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. (12) No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.
