TOFARATI (GT) SET TO RELEASE AUDIO POETRY ALBUM | @grandtycoon

Popular writer, poet, singer, writer, journalist and editor, Tofarati Ige, fondly known as GT is set to release another poetry album.
The entertainer who has two published books of poetry titled, "Town Crier," and "Oriki (Praise Poetry)" while speaking with TAM stated that the new poetry album will explore themes such as corruption, child abuse, domestic violence, and other societal issues. In his words, "Yes, it's true that I'll be releasing a new audio poetry album. Due to popular demand after I released my last album, "Oriki (Praise Poetry)," people have been asking me to come out with something that they can motivate themselves with, hence my decision to return to the studio. The album will deal with issues such as corruption, child abuse, domestic violence, and other things that affect us on a daily basis. Though a date of release hasn't been fixed yet, the album will definitely be released this year. I'm trying to make sure that it's of international quality, so a lot of work has to be done on it."
On his music career, Tofarati (GT) assured his fans that he will also be releasing a song soon after the success of his smash-hit, "I No Dey Craze." According to him, "I have so many things on my plate, and I'm trying to take my time. I don't see myself as a Jack-of-all-trades, but rather as a total entertainer. I'm also a comedian, MC, and rapper. Everywhere I go to perform, people always hail me well so I believe I'm on the right track."

It should be noted that Tofarati is also a journalist of repute who has edited magazines such as Inside OOU, Tulk, Qed, E24-7, amongst others.
He currently writes for Vanguard Newspapers.
