When you come to know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord God and Saviour, you must approach as a newborn baby! You ought to begin to crave for the pure foundations of the Word of God; which is as a newborn baby craving for mother's milk for life! That way, you get to taste and see that the Lord is Good, Gracious and His Mercies Endure forever!!!
How sweet are Your words to my taste! Yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth! From Your precepts I get understanding; Therefore I hate every false way. Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path. I have sworn and I will confirm it, That I will keep Your righteous ordinances. Psalm 119:103-106 NASB
The Truth (Word of God) is often said to be bitter; however, it's bitter only to those who don't want it. Those who crave for it for dear life find it to be sweeter than honey to the taste! Can you swear an oath to keep the Lord's Righteous Ordinances? The Truth will cause you to hate falsehood and every false way! O Jesus! Help my family and I and all who earnestly desire Your Truth not to stray from Your Way, Truth and Life in Christ Jesus. Amen!!!
How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping it according to Your word. With all my heart I have sought You; Do not let me wander from Your commandments. Your word I have treasured in my heart, That I may not sin against You. Psalm 119:9-11 NASB
If one's heart is Drawn to the Lord God Almighty (and only He Can Draw one; no one can come to Him otherwise), one would stop at nothing to seek after the way of purity! Such a one would soon find that the only way is to seek after purity and keep it according to the Word of God. With sincere prayers of faith to God to Help one not to wander from His Commandments; to treasure them, so not to sin against the Lord God Almighty in Jesus' Name. Amen!!!
While he was saying this, a synagogue leader came and knelt before him and said, 'My daughter has just died. But come and put your hand on her, and she will live.' Jesus got up and went with him, and so did his disciples. Matthew 9:18-19 (NIVUK)
Look that the simple yet great faith of this synagogue leader! Jesus NEVER dishonours faith in Him! He Attended unto his request and the rest is history! The girl was raised as one just sleeping! Who amongst the so-called prophets that walked this earth (often equated with Jesus Christ) could do such things? Hmmm! Let us better be wise and follow after the true God, Jesus Christ, who came to humanity in the flesh to save mankind. Amen!!!
(3) And the songs of the temple Shall be wailing in that day," Says the Lord GOD "Many dead bodies everywhere, They shall be thrown out in silence." Amos 8:3
On the Day of the Lord, it will not be easy! The Wrath of God would come down! There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth! Only those whose names are found in the Lamb's Book of Life shall be safe on that Day. There will be no more repentance opportunities; nor will there be any hiding place! This is for real folks; believe, repent and follow Jesus Christ; for He is the Way, Truth and the Life! He is Able to Deliver and to Save! Only Jesus is the Answer! Only Jesus Christ Can SAVE!!!
